Your Privacy Choices

This website uses the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how our advertising performs. As part of that, Facebook browser identifiers (the _fbp and _fbc cookies) and — if you provide it during onboarding — a hashed version of your email address may be shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. For eligible website purchases, we may also send the purchase value, currency, and product identifier. Under some U.S. state privacy laws this may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

When you select the button below, this website writes a durable opt-out cookie in this browser, deletes this browser's local _fbp and _fbc cookies, stops PostHog capture and PostHog session replay for the active page, and prevents future Meta pixel calls in this browser. The durable cookie also prevents Microsoft Clarity from loading on future page loads, but it does not stop a Clarity session that was already loaded on the active page. The button does not send a request to our servers and does not immediately change data already stored there.

If this browser later makes a future /identity/start request, the opt-out cookie is forwarded as ad_opt_out. Our service then makes the choice sticky for that server record, removes its stored Meta browser identifiers, and suppresses later Meta Conversions API events. For information already stored on our servers, when no future identity request will carry the opt-out, contact us at support@datedapp.com .

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out automatically, with no action needed here.

The opt-out is stored as a cookie in this browser, so it applies per browser and per device, and clearing your cookies will clear it. This browser choice does not change the Dated iOS app's settings. The app may send Meta app-install, activation, and eligible purchase measurement without the IDFA. Advertiser-ID collection is enabled only after you authorize App Tracking Transparency, and you can change that permission in iOS Settings.
